A Customer Story: Retired Electrical Engineer Installs a Reliable 70V Speaker System for a Community Support Center
Dan Pierce is a retired electrical engineer who has installed sound systems for various organizations, including DHS control centers, Naval command centers at Guantanamo Bay, and Coast Guard centers around the world. He currently supports churches, 501c3 organizations, and community support and outreach centers as a volunteer consultant.
While assisting a local community support and outreach center, Dan discovered that their 70V speaker system was experiencing issues, with several of the ceiling speakers shorting out due to a leaky roof. This prompted him to search for a more reliable solution.
He came across Pure Resonance Audio’s fully enclosed SP8 SoundPlane 2x2 drop ceiling tile speakers, which perfectly met the needs of the local client’s commercial sound system. Dan purchased eight SP8 speakers for this project, providing full coverage quickly and easily with zero issues. Each speaker delivers approximately 20' x 20' (400 square feet) of audio coverage and installs seamlessly into a standard suspended grid ceiling without the need to cut holes or modify tiles.
Dan worked with Sales Engineer Andrew McPherson and described the experience as great. He also mentioned additional Pure Resonance Audio products that provide him with versatile solutions for future projects.
The fully enclosed 2x2 ceiling speakers resolved the problems he had encountered with his client’s previous system. Dan found them to be a reliable solution that met his expectations and looks forward to using Pure Resonance Audio for additional applications!
