Background

Willow Electric is a one-man electrical shop based in Appleton, Wisconsin, owned and operated by Randy Mader. With 38+ years in the business, Randy has built his company almost entirely through word of mouth. His work spans industrial, commercial, and residential projects, with a strong focus on service calls and smaller jobs where reliability and trust matter most.

During a recent project, Randy was installing wireless access points for a customer when they asked about adding white noise for office privacy in the hallways at two of their locations. The goal was to help clients feel more comfortable and maintain a sense of privacy during conversations.

The original sound systems included 30-watt Bluetooth mixer amplifiers, commercial white noise generators, and 3” ceiling mount speakers. Designed to provide consistent coverage in small areas, the recessed speaker design blends seamlessly into the ceiling and is easy to install.

During installation, it became clear that ceiling mount speakers would not work at one location, and there was an issue with one of the white noise generators. Randy reached out to exchange four of the ceiling speakers for small surface-mount speakers. The Pure Resonance Audio customer service team responded quickly and handled the return process smoothly.

Randy also contacted technical support for help troubleshooting the generator. The support representative stayed on the call until the issue was fully resolved, ensuring both sound systems would operate as intended.

In the end, the sound masking installations worked as designed, and the client was satisfied. What stood out most to Randy was the follow-up. Every team member he worked with checked back in to make sure his experience was a positive one.
